Why “Garden City”?

Chicago’s motto is a City in a Garden.

That vision of growth, beauty, and community echoes God’s greater story — from a garden in Genesis to the garden city of Revelation, where God dwells with His people in perfect peace.

Why we exist

Love God. Love others. Bless the city.

01 · Love God

Rooted in the gospel

We center our life on Jesus — His coming, living, dying, rising, and reigning — and on the Scriptures that proclaim Him.

02 · Love Others

Diverse and united

God is forming a new family from every tribe, tongue, and generation. Unity in diversity reflects the beauty of the gospel.

03 · Bless the City

For the flourishing of Chicago

We join God’s work of renewal — loving mercy, doing justice, and seeking the good of our neighbors and city.

Our mission & vision

A multiethnic community experiencing renewal through life in Jesus.

A diverse church reflects the reconciling work of the cross, participates in the story of the Church from the beginning, and anticipates God’s eternal family from every tribe, tongue, and nation.
